Recently, our kindergarten was transformed into a small Christmas village for an afternoon. We gathered together outside in the courtyard and opened this year's Christmas market with many different Christmas carols, such as "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." It was a wonderful moment of togetherness, bringing everyone together—parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and many other guests, whom we warmly welcomed.

Afterwards, everyone was able to explore our various stations at their own pace. A cozy café with homemade cake, coffee, and cocoa awaited us in the gym. Colorful wooden gnomes and homemade Christmas wreaths were created at the craft stands, while the parents' council had organized a lovingly designed flea market with donated toys, books, and many wonderful handmade items. 

Upstairs, the children enjoyed the puppet show "Kasperle hat Geburtstag" (Kasperle's Birthday) and had the opportunity to write their wish lists. Outside, roast chicken, fish sandwiches, mulled wine, and children's punch created a real Christmas market atmosphere. Our beautiful Christmas tree was also donated by the tree nursery—a big thank you for that. 

At the end, the Sandman visited us and read from the book "The Gruffalo" – a quiet, warm moment to round off a very nice afternoon. 

A big thank you goes to our parents' council for their tremendous support, to all the parents who diligently baked cakes, and to everyone else who actively helped us. Thanks to you, this Christmas market was something very special.
